Will this remove scratches from my paint?
Some waxes and sealants have what is called “fillers” in them, which will hide the micro-light swirls and scratches in your paint. while it conceals even the tiniest scratches, none of them are actually removed. Overall your vehicle paint will look immaculate from the sealant or wax.
How long does the wax last?
This is hugely dependent on how you maintain and store the vehicle. For example, if you store the vehicle in the garage and properly wash it every 2 weeks the wax will last up to 6-8 months. If the vehicle is neglected and not maintained the wax will degrade much sooner.
Do you clay bar the paint?
Yes! In order to make sure the sealant of choice bonds to the paint properly we have to remove any stuck on containments with the clay bar.
What kind of wax do you use?
There’s so many products on the market now. It’s crazy. We use brands like Meguiar’s Griot’s Garage, Chemical Guys, and a few more. All of which are high quality.
My paint feels rough. Will this service take care of that?
Yes! Before we apply the sealant of choice we will clay bar and iron decontaminate the paint. If your paint feels rough it could be one of two things. Either its just been awhile since the paint has been clayed or there is some overspray on your paint that needs to be removed.
How long does this service take?
This varies on the size and condition of your vehicle, but generally 2 – 3 hours.
How long does it take to polish my vehicle?
Paint correction is one of the most time consuming services we offer. This depends on the size of the vehicle and the level of correction we are performing. Your weekend sports car could take up to 12 hours if a high level of correction is being done, while a SUV that’s in for a light polish might only take 5 – 6 hours.
Can you do the work at my location or do I bring it to you?
Since we are a mobile detailing service we will be able to do it at most locations, however paint correction requires a very clean work space. We cannot have dust and debris falling onto the car so some locations may not be workable.
Does this remove or hide the swirls and scratches?
Paint correction will remove swirls and scratches, the only way they will come back is by reinstalling them via improper washing methods.
Do you offer ceramic coatings?
Of course! We offer many different ceramic coatings for your vehicle. Before installing a ceramic coating onto your vehicle it will first have to go through our paint correction process. You can choose from a 3, 6, or a 8 year coating.
I have water spots on my car. Will paint correction remove it?
Yes! Not only will it remove water marks but paint correction will also remove swirls, scratches, and paint transfers.
My clear coat is peeling, does paint correction fix this?
There is not much for a detailer to do if the clear coat is peeling. This is what we call clear coat failure, when this happens in most cases it will have to be resprayed.
