No, while ceramic coatings offer some scratch resistance, they will not be able to stop rock chips from happening.
Do I have to have paint correction done before a ceramic coating?
Yes! In order to have the ceramic coating properly bond to the paint of your vehicle we have to prep the paint. This mean we will always do paint correction to some degree.
How long does it take to apply a ceramic coating?
While the actual coating process take about an hour and a half, the entire job can take anywhere from 5 hours to 2 days. This depends on how much correction we are doing and the size of your vehicle.
Can I take my car through automatic car washes after a ceramic coating?
Automatic car washes will degrade your ceramic coating over time and induce scratches and swirls. When you decide to get a ceramic coating you should be prepared to tale the proper steps in maintaining your vehicle.
